The Digital Story Pt.2

I honestly believe that sharing of ideas and experience can do so much more connections with my readers. So as I said that I'm gonna make a part two of my digital story and yes I did it right. So here are some thoughts you might wonder how it started and how it's going. 

I become superb in doing my stuff, living the way I can truly manifest what God has always been giving. 

Over a years of my expatriation in Saudi Arabia, this was so cool to give my self the most anticipated iPhone 5 back 2012. I worked hard and earned then stoked my self with this. I literally made a good impression with my mirror selfie. Haven't you heard this #mirrorselfie? This was a trend when people got the latest iPhone models. Heck yeah, I joined the wagon.

The thing about that year was the frequent mirror selfie while in the midst of workout session. Something that is remarkably inevitable. Most men, do the stuffs like the dumbells should be part of the scene and may be this picture thaught it's true. I was a gym freak baby, but it only happened inside our apartment. We bought equipments to make all looked like a gym right in our stairway. I even remember I made a geotag location in my Foursquare account and it was called Gymstairs. This happened when you post picture in your social media and pin your location where were you at that moment. Think the location I made is no longer exist in google map.

During cold season, it's quite chilly that oftentimes the temperature reaches -4 in northern part of Saudi Arabian peninsula. So thicker jackets were fairly important to wear. I wore jackets when I go outside and ordered a hot coffee with cinnamon rolls as a delights. That's how my work started. Coffee is next to me, nothing in this world could stop me from sipping coffee in my shift. And that a whole lot of stories going out. This was taken during my breaktime and I snapped because I look fresher than the fish in the market. Lol! 

I tell you about how it started, I will tell what had happened with my workout that I looked like its not getting what I wanted. But this picture is just exaggerated, I looked like I gain weight but it wasn't. I just had a great capture and smiled a lot. Hehe! This could mean that I also loved my skin care I was using or may be a good filter of a camera phone. It's almost 2013, this was a very delightful picture I hooked with my favorite jacket. 

When my contract ended in the company I'm working. I went back to Riyadh to file papers for exit in the head office. So my colleagues and I were so excited to get back home. Those days we been counting had been thru thick and thin but what's the most exciting was strolling around the Capital City. This was taken when we arrived at the villa, it was closer to the main road of the famous Riyadh Tower.

This was taken using an app to prove you have gone in.

This is also a spectacular view. The 2013 exit in Saudi Arabia was due to the domination of World War Z film 😂😂😂. I didn't watch though. 

There were so many things happened to me for the past 10 years and these experiences I made are notably nostalgic. I guess I can continue this in the next story so better catch up. Cheers!

The Digital Story

I have been in the digital world since 2008 where I started my blogging. I remember, I hooked on in an internet café just to start my digital blogging on the computer. I started writing about my life here. How my college went through while working in a fastfood chain. Those were days when life-work-study is unbelievably crafty. I was able to stay cool in putting into words, maybe my english composition isn't perfect, but I am able to let my readers understand. So looking back into this digital world when people nowadays can literally click and go to the web base learning and getting informations so easy. That didn't exempt me for doing so. I begun some good writing about how my work, school and daily activities went. I even encourage to steal some good thoughts online just to expand my writing, to smoothly conceal and deeply understand on every phrases I put in to. Then all this blog posts encorporated with pictures to prove connections just like a book that expresses comprehension. I would like to show some good pictures created when smartphones with better camera have been doing great. Thought this was even cooler to show you off.

This was my college days after my part-time work. Me and my colleague just got a snap on the iPhone in 2010. I guess it was a monthly assembly and we had an impressive production and presentation.

I was far from who I am now. This was a surreal experience in Saudi Arabia. Back in 2011, I went abroad to work and to earn better financially. I did not finish my college degree because of an inconvenient financial problem that cannot sustain my study, so I decided to stop and work oversea. In this very good lighting scene with my very first phone HTC One V, I stand up and look what God gave me a good privilege to enjoy after a busy operations at work. 

Another capture in another great escape we had to lose our selves just to relieve from stress. This was our favourite place to go. You know in Saudi Arabia, people are separated from men to women, single and married. So just like us, an expatriate. We had a little time to enjoy over a bunch of activities at work. Both men are just packed in a compound with pool and some amenities to groove our fun bonding together. Eating and throwing some jokes, barbecue, enjoy the swimming and catching up some games to play. 

That the same year (2011) I started my fitness. I realized that, in order to make activities lively, taking care of my health is the first priority. So with this picture, I literally put on to perspective about workout after the stress workplace hit the ground running. Captured in my first ever digital SONY camera. Though it wasn't my intention to use but the trial is astounding when you look a bit. How was my smile?

This was also one part of my digital blogging. I made my Instagram account and this is one of my photos I posted. I looked good with my iPod touch. As you all know, I am very much in love with music. I collected digital music album then put it on iPod so I can enjoy listening while I'm in a physical activities both in the house and workplace. This was taken before bedtime. 

So over the years of doing these stuffs. I have always been in love with writing. And I should do this often so I will reminisce the memories I had.

Quite an Inevitable

Kalanggaman Island

So the company continued it's event somewhere in Eastern Visayas region. As we moved to another places to run a new promotion, we had interaction with many people in Tacloban City. That time our event seem very much successful that we had aimed our target as high as it was expected. So glad that even if we have tiring operations in the last day, we still got it work very well. By the next two days we will have another same event in Ormoc City. But before that happened, we decided to go on a beach. A famous beach closer to Ormoc City which is in the Palompon, Leyte. So we got up and packed few stuffs and leave right away while our other belongings left in our friends crib.

And hell yeah, we packed for another escape. This time we went to an island called Kalanggaman. So here are some photos I've taken.

When we arrived in Palompon Leyte, we started to shop some foods for our overnight stay then we maxed out our pennies to rent a boat headed to Kalanggaman island. So heres the snapshot while we are on our way.

As we approached closer to the island this was the perfect view I said "hell yeah, we're here" . 

Then I have a proof what thought to be the Kalanggaman island look like. As you all know, this island has no private resort or any establishment make business. The local government are responsible for preserving and maintaining the beauty of this island. There are no activities that may result to environmental destruction here, the no garbage policy is strictly monitored and motivated by the locals. This is truly remarkable. 

I have never been this feeling of excitement before that the reason of jumping in the sand is quite exhilarating. Before that jumping, we made up our tents and organize everything for the night and day experience. 

We continue the day and night well rounded with laughs and chats. I always love to enjoy the overnight staying in the island, beach bum, sunset, sunrise and strolling are just so easy in this place. So here are the photos of me (of course) you could enjoy scrolling. I even made videos that was so amazing but disregard it. I did not post it here. 

The other side has rock formation that simply let you walk through with bare feet so you can take photos in wide angle. 

I simply stolen a shot for my friends and the view as well. 

That view and the shot is strikingly impressive for Instagram. 

Might as well include myself without editing.

the right side, where I saw it more cinematic. 

But when I reached to the top, I came with no more sun but a golden hour is just amazing. 

So I have to made-up with that saying "You're my golden hour" by Kacey Musgrave. 

We have so many things happened in the nightI wasn't able to capture but my friends did. As we woke up, we walked around in the morning even in cloudy day it was so beautiful. 

As the sun rose to hit a mark on our skin. I took this blatantly. It's obvious that the nicest color comes in the daylight. 

All these moments were really unforgettable. We made it so much wonderful in this island. Guaranteed that you would love this too when you come here. The silence that you need maybe in here. Its worth it, the pleasure and feeling of having the natures inside of you. I surely come back here because spending your money is very affordable, like you never have to worry of catching people to go a cheaper services. The good thing is people here don't get you fool by spending more in your pocket, you only settle for the boat rents and cottage or tents to enjoy the island. Bringing your own food is applicable and its a saver.

So i guess the story I shared to you was interesting. I thank my colleagues we had made it. The time we spent together was so good and we got back to Ormoc City for our event the next day. 

We continued our journey together in Ormoc City. Then at the moment of our event being set, we concluded to postpone due to the coronavirus spreading. And most of the cities around the nation took an immense preparation and lockdown boarders from island to island and cities to nearby cities. Mostly, everything is getting serious with the pandemic and we decided to get back home for our safety and security purpose. That's how it ended our travel but still it was remarkable.

Break Through as the Time Goes By

As you all know, the pandemic hits the world tremendously sickening people. But long after the COVID-19 spreading, my team and I were able to travel around Visayas region. Our company had a promotion that ran through many places and we went to Dumaguete City last February and first of March.

After the event have gone, we decided to take a good break before we go back home. We rented a motorcycle so we can travel with our will to drive in to places that locals recommend us to go. 

As we drove down the street from Dumaguete City to Valencia City, Negros Oriental. We stopped on the reverside where it's s nice and so good looking view to take photos. So right here, my colleagues were ones who had more that just they were.

We worked the way so easy heading to our first spot spontaneously. 

We stopped in Palinpinon Geothermal Smokey Mountain. As you may all know, this portion here is used as a part of the goverment's power source that supplies electricity in Valencia, Dumaguete and some areas nearby. Many people also stop to look and capture photos over the mountain in a smokey toxic gas vaporize. 

That drive was not bad and we reached to the second place we planned to. The Pulangbato falls and here are some pictures as proof.

The sun was very hot but this pool was just the beginning of cooling down the hot temperature. I looked like much excited to dip in. 

No doubt, my colleagues thought of having colds after this. But what came up next was not alarming as it was.

That view was a red lighter. I made a closer look and chased it before I disappeared. 😅😅😅

I also made some portraits thru my camera phone. 

Stumbling in and left hanging.. 🤣 🤣 Hanging bridge are damn foolish, don't be a fool. 

The portrait mode were all about that good sightseeing before taking it. 😍 😍 

After the cold spring and waterfalls chasing. We decided to go down and went to a Red Rocks Hot Spring nearby. Though, I am not a fan of hot spring, I still joined them but did not dip in. 

Instead I tumbled down my legs and acted calmly and spring sprung, that's it. 

The resort is small so if all the guests packed in the water they may be call as sardines. 😁😁😂😂

My colleagues weighed in their balls and chit-chatting. 

I also took a picture with them to sum up that I am with them thru thick and thin. 😜🤔

The resort also offers many services such as massage and etc, but we decided to go to the city proper and looked for good food. Then the next target was to climb up to a hill. So we drove but oftentimes we stopped to beautiful spot that felt so stunning to snapshot. 

I stepped out of the the bridge and said can I get a pose here? Come on baby.. 🤣 🤣 🤣 

I also leave a good stand on this beautiful background here, the cliff's looked so good and my co-work had to strike a pose too being a driver. 

We never waste time to span our travel further so we went to a hill where there is a Resort, the Valley Heights Valencia. To get there, we drove way up but ended parking halfway to the hill because its not safe to drive. We did not expect that it was tiresome, looked like we gave up breathing a bit. But until we reached to the top, we saw some sparkling green view overlooking Dumaguete City. 

Though we have to take a deep breath and rest, I decided not to roam around the hill instead I rest in the cottage until they decided to go down and drove back to Dumaguete City. 

By the time we walked down the hill, I captured these beautiful photos using Macro Lens Mode in my camera phone. 

These daisies are just so attractive in a macro lens mode. The good thing about having quad camera set up help me improve my shooting skills. 👍😁😋😀

So we made up the day well, we went back to the city and packed for our trip back home. Our experience in Valencia and Dumaguete City was evidently the best having quality time with together and more importantly that bonding was unforgettable.
